VARSITY BAND RECORDINGS CONCERT 2/27/17

VARSITY BAND!  
You had the opportunity to have a very unique experience of playing concert repertoire two times in the same week.  It gives us the opportunity to examine how each performance demonstrated our consistency as an ensemble, but also how we made each performance different.  I was very proud to conduct you for both performances, and I felt that our growth in this concert cycle was tremendous.  I am excited to see where we can go in May!

Here are some questions to reflect upon:

1) What elements of our performance were CONSISTENT (the same in both performances) between our performance on 2/21/17 and our performance on 2/27/17?

2) What elements were DIFFERENT between these two performances?  Was it a difference that made us better?

3) What piece was our best piece we performed on 2/27/17?  Why?

4) What was your favorite piece you heard from another group?  Why did you like it?  Did they perform it well?
