WMR Final Rehearsal 10/11/18 Agenda and Announcements

THURSDAY, October 11^th will be our final rehearsal of the 2018 Marching Season.  We will only rehearse from 5:30-6:30 PM due to the Woodbury High School Orchestra Fall Concert that night. ALL WMR STUDENTS are EXPECTED TO ATTEND THE ORCHESTRA CONCERT from 6:45-8:30 PM as part of rehearsal.  It is our goal to support our orchestra! Here is the agenda:

5:30-5:40 PM              Rehearsal begins at the PRACTICE FIELD.  Stretch with Mrs. Moreno

5:40-5:50 PM              Full show run

5:50-5:55 PM              Feedback from Leadership

5:55-6:05 PM              Full show run

6:05-6:10 PM              Feedback from Leadership

6:10-6:20 PM              Full Show Run, Dismissal

6:20-6:40 PM              Uniform maintenance presentation in the Band Room

6:40-6:45 PM     Rehearsal dismissal from the band room.

6:45-8:30 PM Attend the WHS Orchestra Fall Concert in the Auditorium, support the orchestra (or play for some of                                    you)! This is not an optional activity.  All marching band members are expectedto attend. 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

• Tonight is our last rehearsal. There will NOT be rehearsal next Tuesday.

• I have received ALL PAPERWORK for the California Trip from ALL STUDENTS!  THANK YOU!  This is the fastest this has ever happened. Great work!

•I have attached a flyer for the Jason Whitmore Clinic on Sunday, 10/21 below.  It should be a great clinic!

•Students will check out UNIFORMS on Friday between 5-5:45 PM.  Students will check out a shako, shako box, jacket, and pants (bibs).  Students traveling to California will be responsible for their uniforms until October 25th from 5:30-6:30 PM when all uniforms will be returned. Those students NOT traveling to California will return uniform components (shako, box, jacket, pants) on Saturday IMMEDIATELY AFTER the South Washington County District Marching Band Showcase in the East Ridge High School Orchestra Room. Uniforms are approximately $500 a piece.  Do not abuse or lose them!!

•We will report to the Woodbury High School Band Room for the California Trip.  Call time is 4 AM on Thursday, October 18th.  DO NOT BE LATE!  We need to be heading to the airport by 4:20 AM.  Chaperones: I suggest you drive your car from WHS TO MSP so that you have a vehicle to get you home when we return on October 23.
