Woodbury Concert Band performs strong concert at the Worldstrides Heritage Chicago Festival!

The Woodbury high school band performed a concert of three great pieces at the world strides heritage Festival in Chicago today. Lope's "Gallito" and Williams "Symphonic Dance #3: Fiesta!" were conducted by Mr. Katzenmeyer, and "First Suite in Eb for Military Band" by Holst was led by Mr. Steinmetz. The band was adjudicated by clinicians Dr. Timothy Gene Yontz and Jon Thomson, and the band received an on-stage clinic from Bob Berheide, who complemented the performers' style and balance. The band gave a strong performance and will receive final ratings at the festival banquet at Medieval Times tonight. Go Royals!
