Heyyyyyyyyyyy Band!
Our Fall Field Show is something we learn starting in late July. It is much easier to learn the drill when you know your music. Therefore, I am providing copies of the music for music memorization over the Summer:) Here are the parts
for you to print at home. To print, either download each tune to your
computer and print only the page for YOUR part (for example, if you play
2nd trumpet, print only page 9 of "Daft Punk Medley"). For instruments with
multiple parts, for now, plan on picking 3rd part if you are a freshman,
second part if you are a sophomore, and 1st part if you are a Junior or
a Senior. You may trade with others at the first rehearsal as long as
the band stays BALANCED! Drumline, Mr. Steinmetz will assign your
parts. I've posted Mp3s of the Field Show tunes. Please listen to help hear
how your part fits with the rest of the band. I'm really excited to
get the great tradition of the Marching Royals up and running for the
2014 edition.
